Banuk Figures are a type of collectable found across the world of Horizon: Zero Dawn. These figures have the appearance of small Grazers made of fabric, straw, and sticks. A total of six figures are found on the tops and ledges of mountainous regions, and reaching their locations requires a fair amount of climbing.
These figures were created by the legendary Banuk hunter Arnak, who was exiled from Ban-Ur for killing his chief. Arnak created the figures during his exile as messages to his son, Tektuk, and left the figures in locations that reminded him of his homeland. Each figure is found amidst elaborate geometric paintings created by Arnak, and contains a letter from Arnak to Tektuk. Some time after Arnak's exile, his tribe declared him innocent, and came to view him as a wandering hero. Arnak's figures are now considered valuable artifacts to the Banuk, and can be traded to the Carja envoy Cantarah for special Treasure Boxes.
There are six figures, divided evenly into three sets:
Finding one of these figures rewards the player with a Playstation trophy, as well as finding all of the six figures.
