Kadaman, also referred to as Kadaman of the Dawn's Rising, [1] was the firstborn son of Sun-King Jiran in Horizon Zero Dawn.

History

Like his younger brother Avad, Kadaman came to recognize the Red Raids as pointless bloodshed. When he demanded that his father end the bloodshed, Jiran ordered his son executed.

Legacy

Kadaman's execution was the final straw for Avad; on the night of his brother's death, Avad escaped Meridian with a group of soldiers loyal to him. Heading north to the Claim, he would form an alliance with the Oseram and lay siege to Meridian, which would lead to Jiran's death and the end of the Red Raids. Kadaman therefore served as the catalyst for ending the Red Raids, even if he did not live to see it himself.

Appearance

Kadaman was described as fair and blond-haired.[1]
