Muns and his friends, Den and Ferl, set out from Mother's Crown shortly after the Proving Massacre to seek revenge on the killers. They tracked some Corrupted machines to Devil's Thirst but eventually were overrun and the trio scattered.
Den returned to Mother's Crown where he then convinces Aloy to search for Ferl and Muns in the ruins. She finds that they have retreated to the second floor of a ruined building after Ferl lost his gear to a Sawtooth.
